Postal Service Retirees
FEP is committed to providing Postal Service retirees and their families with some of the best health care benefits possible.
By your side at every stage of life
Thank you for your years of dedication. We're committed to keeping your health care benefits as reliable as your service to our nation.
As a retired Postal Service employee, there are some requirements that impact your health coverage
You must enroll in Medicare Part B when you retire, with some exceptions
Part B covers care you receive from doctors, preventive services, outpatient care, home health care and durable medical equipment. There is a monthly premium for Part B.
You may be subject to IRMAA
If you are at a certain income level, there is an Income-Related Monthly Adjustment Amount (IRMAA). It’s based on what you include on your tax returns.
